What Can You Expect?
This is a public group tour for you, your party, and any other visitors who have purchased tickets with a maximum of 15 people total.
Did you know that Sequoia trees look different depending on the light? The glow from the setting sun can illuminate the sequoia trees with a rose hue! Here atop the mountains of California the sunsets are a step above. Join one of our expert naturalists as they take you for a saunter through one of the largest giant sequoia groves on the planet! Along the way, you will learn about the amazing plants and animals that call the Giant Forest home and the stories of the cultures that spent time under the largest trees in the world! The highlight of the walk will be a stop on Sunset Rock, at sunset!
Meet at the Giant Forest Museum (near the Sentinel Tree) for introductions and safety talk before we head out for our Sequoia Journey through the Giant Forest. After two hours we will end the tour right where we started.
