Ready to Run Wild?

STAY TUNED FOR RUNNING WILD IN 2022

Welcome To SPC's Second Annual Virtual Race!
Join us for a virtual race through one of the most iconic trails of the Southern Sierra Nevada – Rae Lakes Loop in Kings Canyon National Park!  The loop is 41.4 miles long and climbs from 5,035' at the trailhead to 11,978' at Glen Pass.

HOW IT WORKS

The Race Is On This November!
Join us for a virtual race through one of the most iconic trails of the Southern Sierra Nevada – Rae Lakes Loop in Kings Canyon National Park!  Along the way,  you will earn milestone badges for major stops along the loop. There will be plenty of challenges to test you too, but don't worry – we will be here to motivate you until you cross the finish line!

All participants will receive a digital race bib. Race platform features include a live map that tracks your progress, a challenger's leaderboard, and a digital finisher's certificate with your stats. And for the winners, we’re putting together some amazing prize packages, so stay tuned for more details soon!

Live Map Progress Tracking
You will be able to see your progress along the route as you enter your mileage! Our live map tracking feature will even allow you to see where your fellow challengers are on the map compared to you - now that's some motivation!

Register Early, Pick A Challenge, And Be Ready To Race November 1!
Take advantage of early registration May 1 - June 30, and when November rolls around, you will have the whole month to complete whatever challenge you choose. Will you play it safe and choose one lap (41.4 miles)? Or maybe you’re up for something bigger – five laps or ten?! Choose to walk/hike, run, or cycle your way to the finish line. Want to race with your friends and make a bigger impact? Create or join a team and work together to reach even higher.

You’ve Got This!
Join the one-lap challenge and just complete 10.35 miles per week (1.5 miles per day)! Or challenge yourself to something more - just be sure to pace yourself. We will help you total up your distance and track your progress with online progress tracking tools.

Participating Is Simple:
  1. Walk/hike, run, or cycle whenever you want, wherever you like. It’s a virtual race, so it’s up to you.
  2. Log into our website to enter your miles and time. Track your progress on our race page and connect on our facebook group!

Your Help Makes A Big Impact!
The mission of Sequoia Parks Conservancy is to fund and enable projects and programs that protect, preserve, and provide access to the natural and cultural resources of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Last year, our wild runners raised over $30,000. This year we are out to raise $50,000 so spread the word and let’s Run Wild!

Eligibility
